Local Area Employment Service (LAES)

Louth Meath Local Area Employment Service (LM LAES) works in partnership with Intreo to support people who are long-term unemployed and face significant barriers to entering the labour market.

Funded by the Department of Social Protection

Supporting your journey to employment

Our mission is to help jobseekers achieve financial independence, whether through full-time employment or starting their own business. We work directly with clients referred to us by the Department of Social Protection and provide tailored support through every step of their employment journey.

Who we work with

How the programme works

Upon referral, each jobseeker takes part in a 52-week structured programme focused on personal progression toward full-time, paid employment. Each participant is assigned a dedicated Case Officer who works one-to-one with them to develop a Personal Progression Plan, with clear goals and actionable steps.
